Elf idea: I'll miss shoe
The elf is sitting in a child's shoe with a note that says 'I'll miss shoe!' It takes about 3 minutes and hardly any effort; you need shoes, wellies and slippers, paper, card and envelopes, felt tips, crayons and a marker pen.

How to do it
- Pop the elf into one of the kids' shoes.
- Write 'I'll miss shoe!' on a small card.
- Put it by the front door.
